Thanks again for the years of support and kindness especially through the recent hard times to all my outstanding collectors & phriends!! www.artusmart.com                   You Are Viewing the Work of Anton Bodor                      Size:   1   7/16  inches Signed:  Bodor "08 Material:  Borosilicate Technique/Style (s):  Fish Scale Art Glass Marble        With a driving vision to expand wire wrapping techniques, style and flow Anton Bodor has been harvesting his ideas since the new millennium.  A self taught wire artist who has pushed the complexity and detail of wire work jewelry into a new era.  Using .999 fine Silver, and only wire cutters and pliers Anton transforms 20 feet of 30 gauge wire and various sized base wires into fine handcrafted jewelry.  After spending much time working with fine gems and minerals Anton wanted to expand his art form and add glasswork to his repatore.   The search began for finding a glass blower in which shared similar creative energy and inspiration and with the willingness to take on an apprentice.  After several years of disappointment in finding his ideal apprentice, Anton decided that a move out of his native Las Vegas (NV) was necessary.  After consideration Anton felt that the Land of Enchantment was going to provide his artistic inspiration and future.  Within the first week of arriving in Southwest New Mexico his vision proved to be correct.  Attending a local Arts and Craft show he became acquainted with Daniel Trilli, a local glassblower.  Their creative similarities and goals were apparent from the get-go.  I was privalaged greatly to have spent thousands of hours working under Daniel Trilli, picking his mind and flowing at such a high level of artistic creativity that I didn't even know was possible.  But this great and magical relationship would come to an end April 17th, 2007 when my best friend and teacher in life passes away and my life is forever changed and left with such a great emptyness that all I can do is blow glass in honor and dedication to him and using this wonderful gift the Daniel gave me. I have never felt as complete as I do when working with glass and I hope I am able to continue this great artform for the rest of my life.  I starting blowing glass in November of 2004 and enjoy making jewelry, sculptures, utilities, pipes, and just about everything else but my favorite is marble making by far.   All My Work Is Dedicated In Loving Memory And Respect To My Mentor Daniel Trilli.  You Are Missed             www.artusmart.com On Nov-11-08 at 17:00:54 PST, seller added the following information: Use the FREE Counters 1 million sellers do - Vendio!
